bad weather

tuesday and wednesday were a little different. luke didn't have school because of bad weather, and robert also stayed home due to the ice. so we have had some good days, but now i am kinda glad it's just logan and i again and things are back to normal. (hope that doesn't sound too bad) tuesday morning we woke up and went to eat breakfast at IHOP. it was crazy, the boys acted like they had never been out to eat before, even though we go out a couple times a week. and towards wednesday evening robert and i were getting on eachothers nerves just a bit. oh well, it happens sometimes. logan seems to be having a hard time with the monster thing. i have tried several things such as, 2 nightlights, leaving his closet open WITH the light on, and spraying "monster spray" (febreeze). and still we find him on the couch in the morning, if there are any other ideas out there i need them. well that is how my last few days have been, not very exciting. maybe more after the weekend. i am half way thinking of driving to oklahoma, but don't know for sure yet.

saturday evening

all the hard work that i put into my house EVERY day last week paid off. i finished the boy's bedrooms saturday a.m. and the guys left for little rock around 5:00. and i was a free gal!!! i went grocery shopping since going grocery shopping with no kids is a dream come true for me. i came home and did a little pampering on the ol' tootsies and hands (they had been neglected for quite some time now), then sat back with some double stuff oreos, a glass of milk, and watch the miss america pageant, what's better than eating junk food while watching skinny women. my men came home around 11:00. and that was my much needed evening. and my house couldn't be more clean and organized.

working my butt off

well we have been in our new home a full year now. and for a few months i have been wanting to go through every room and clean out what we haven't used in a year. i will admit i have been procrastinating. so i finally started on monday cleaning from top to bottom, one room at a time. its only tuesday, and i am ready to give up. on wednesday i will begin on the dreaded kitchen, yuck!! on the other hand, i know i will feel a heck of alot better once i get this house done, think i will treat myself out when its complete :) hopefully i am done by saturday, looks like i might have an evening to myself, robert is planning on taking the boys to alltel arena to watch monster truck jam. i am sooo excited because i can't remember the last time i had alone time. well back to cleaning while i am in the mood.

first timer

so one of my very good friends told me that i should start "blogging" now that i am a stay at home mom. well kacy, i hope i am doing this right. before she told me about blogging, i never knew of such thing. so everyone who reads this, beware, because this is my first time. i will probably not spell things correctly, i might get in a hurry, and leave some words out, just keep in mind, i have a 6 year old and a three year old that love to fight, so i might get distracted. anyway, i will give this ol' blogging thing a shot, maybe i will get hooked. more later.....
