It's way too early

On Thursday April 30, i got the most heart-shocking news from my first born son..........it goes something like this. i was waiting to pick luke up from school and as the kids came walking out of the building to parent pick-up, i am watching my son which looked like he was holding some girls hand. so i kept my eyes fixed on those hands until i could tell for sure. sure enough what i saw was true. so i convince myself that it's just a buddy thing. oh no!! the very first words out of my little 6 year olds mouth was, "guess what mom? i got a new girlfriend." okay i don't know about you but i was totally at a loss for words, and thinking NEW girlfriend? like he has had many. not wanting to make a big deal about it and embarress him, i didn't say much. i was absolutly stunned.
